Contact

I work with a small number of clients at a time, one on one, and prefer to work with people already employed in investment management. I work remotely, so you can be anywhere in the world.

Whether you are working towards a CFA level or thinking about the next stage of your career, you are welcome to write to me directly. The earlier in your study cycle you get in touch, the more we can do together. For candidates, soon after receiving a result is also a good time.

Tell me where you are now, what you are hoping for, and anything you would like me to understand before we speak. Please also include the best way to reach you and your city and time zone. A personal email address is welcome, as many people prefer not to write from work. A few lines is enough. Please do not include details of actual exam questions, which candidates agree to keep confidential.

I read every message myself and treat everything you share in confidence. I usually reply within a few days, and I reply to everyone, including when I am not able to take on new work. When my schedule is full, I will let you know when space becomes available.

If it seems we may be a good fit, we can arrange a phone call or Zoom conversation to discuss working together. This first conversation carries no fee or obligation.

I cannot promise a result. I can promise my full attention and commitment to your success.

You can confirm my charter through CFA Institute's member directory. I am also happy to share my charter and membership letter during our first conversation, along with references from past clients who have agreed to speak with you. I do not publish testimonials, because my clients' privacy matters more than my marketing.

For Firms

I also work with investment management firms that sponsor the development of their people, particularly firms that claim compliance with the CFA Institute Asset Manager Code or the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®). Sponsored engagements remain one on one. The firm is told whether sessions take place, but nothing of what we discuss or of any exam result, unless the individual chooses to share it.

Privacy

I hold everything you share to the same standard of confidentiality required of every charterholder under the CFA Institute Standards of Professional Conduct, Standard III(E), Preservation of Confidentiality. This applies to current, former and prospective clients alike.

Information about you is not disclosed to anyone, including a sponsoring employer, unless you give permission, the law requires it, or it concerns illegal activity.

I keep only what our work needs: your contact details and the notes and messages from our time together. I do not use your details for marketing, and there is no newsletter or mailing list. You can ask at any time to see what I hold about you, or to have it deleted.
