Private CFA Tutor: one candidate, one tutor, one goal

Daren Miller has over 10 years of experience in tutoring and motivating individual CFA candidates with patience, empathy, and confidence. Daren tutors the complete CFA curriculum, all topics at all three levels, so you can have the support you need not only now, but also as you progress through the CFA Program.

Daren personally conducts all tutoring sessions, making available a private library of original training resources to help overcome any learning obstacles. These include multiple choice questions for Level I, item sets for Levels II and III, and essay-type questions for Level III candidates. These resources supplement the official CFA curriculum and any additional third-party prep course material.

Fees and Initial Consultation

The fee structure varies with on when you first register with Daren Miller, as follows:

  • New clients accepted up to 14 March: US$100 per hour (or local currency equivalent)
  • New clients accepted after 14 March: US$150 per hour (or local currency equivalent)
The jump in fees from 14 March follows the percentage change of the CFA Program fee schedule and encourages early bookings. You can pay by credit card or bank transfer in hourly increments, there is no minimum number of hours, and spent time is counted in minutes. Unused time can be rolled over to the next exam sitting. There are no cash refunds for unused time, and hours are not transferrable to other candidates.

The first step is an initial discussion of your present circumstances to determine if CFA tutoring is right for you. There is no charge for the initial discussion, and you are under no obligation to book any sessions. If you have failed the CFA exam, please forward your results that indicate your fail band and topic performance. Your results are held in strict confidence. Sharing your exam results are in compliance with CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
